The Mind Scan Camera was built with the simple aim of letting users play around with and share their photos in a creative and comical manner. Once a photo is retrieved from a users picture library, they are able to use the app’s scanner to interpret the faces of subjects that appear within photos, afterwards labeling them with their emotions – users never know who is secretly angry or tired in their photos, or

who is genuinely happy or filled with energy. It’s a simple app both in it’s nature as well as in its execution, but still achieves the level of fun and entertainment it promises customers.

There’s not many hidden features here, but on the same note there aren’t any hidden limitations and negative sides to this app. In this sense Mind Scan Camera is one of the few apps on the market that delivers on everything it promises to and nothing more. While it maybe hard for a lot of mobile app enthusiasts to get excited over this type of one trick pony, most users will walk away feeling that the dollar they spent purchasing it was well enough spent to be at peace with.

Of the slight features offering within this application, users are also able to add in comical graphics to their scanned photos that portray the emotions of the photo’s subjects.

This is a somewhat automated process, meaning that if the app thinks someone is worried it will display a dark cloud above their heads, or a cartoon sun if they are happy, and so on.

Mind Scan Camera is admittedly a gimmicky photo base application. This is not to say that it’s a bad application though. For anyone who finds these types of photo editing tools fun, Mind Scan Camera is almost guaranteed not to disappoint.
