From the ashes of a powerful ancient civilization, many new tribes have arisen. Now, a mysterious star has fallen to Earth and a magical secret power from the past has been uncovered. Only one lucky tribe can claim the great secret, and all must contend for it. Someday, they shall name this terrible conflict … The Civilizations Wars.

Initially you will find it challenging to learn the ropes on how to move your units quickly from buildings to building but by using the simple “Touch”, “Hold” and “Swipe” movement of your fingers…the learning curve is relatively short.

After that, you learn that the crystal buildings cannot generate troops but the more troops you put into it will make your troops MOVE FASTER & have higher CRYSTAL ENERGY to cast magic.

Then you encounter power towers that shoot beams of plasma at your troops and by entering them give you power to shoot these plasma too! The more troops you put into them the fast you shoot!

After a while, you will get the hang of it as you play until you reach the boss level where you might be unable to finish it unless you level up & upgrade the “correct” skills to finish that level.

You will realize that each map you can play again to gain more experiences “XP” and gain levels to get more “SKILL POINTS” to upgrade your skills, and after completing some levels you found some special MODES got unlocked for you to play with extra experience points!

After a while you will be able to finish this whole game in a faster pace with much more determination that may end up some where in the church with the priest trying to “exorcise the demon” out of you as you had been playing this game for MULTIPLE HOURS at a time.

But reassured, after you complete the last level with a twist in the story plot of the game ….you find that it’s just like you had finished the 100 episodes of “Lord of the Rings” and appreciate the developer’s effort to make this game available into your life.

But it’s NOT over yet!! You find that there are “RUNES” at the main menu which are similar to “Accomplishment badges” and each badges is a unique accomplishment that you may want to get to “Show off”.

The iPhone version does have game centre integration but the iPad version seems to be still with “Crystal” social network leader board but strangely ask me to login to the Game Centre.

This game does crash from time to time but the game is autosave-d every time it crashed so no harm done however I only played this in iOS 4.2 so I’m not sure if it’s because of the new iOS version that is causing the problems so it’s up to the developer to find out.

I wish that the developer can include a multiplayer option for us to go head to head with other players either via Bluetooth or via Internet just like Galcon Fusion but of course that will mean a higher prices in the future.

In the mean time this game is highly recommended by me and get it while it’s still cheap 😀
