Pros

2. Can charge your iPad while you view your HDMI output videos from your iPad
3. The adapter can fit properly even you have casing on no like other 3rd party types!
4. Some applications already built in FULL Screen output such as youtube

Cons

1. Majority of the Application mirroring output are in the aspect ratio of 4:3 of the iPad instead of the full screen output which will have “black bars” on the sides (Use jailbreak app “DisplayOut” to resolve this)
2. Only Some applications had been updated to work full screen with HDMI output
3. Older projector (that uses composite vga) needs additional VGA adapter to convert from HDMI to VGA
4. You need a longer HDMI cable (pricy) & power extension cord for the charging cable if you want to sit far away from the television

The jailbreak application “DisplayOut” cost USD$2.99 but it’s well worth the value if you find out that you can display everything in true FULL SCREEN mode!
